Some of these messages come from fake addresses such as @trafcx.fi instead of our official @trafox.fi. Please ignore such messages and contact us directly if in doubt.

The system is equipped with a disconnection contactor which is controlled by the IMD. When the system is started, the disconnection contactor is open, disconnecting the load network from the supply network. At the same time, the NC auxiliary contacts of the disconnection contactor connects the supply network to the measurement input connectors of the IMD. When the load network is supposed to be connected to the supply network, a command is sent to the IMD through the Modbus RTU interface. After receiving the connection command, the IMD disables insulation monitoring and powers the disconnection contactor, which connects the load network to the supply network and disconnects the measurement inputs from the load network. Disconnecting the load network from the supply network works the same way in the opposite manner.
The disconnection contactor must have 4 NO contacts and 2 NC auxiliary contacts. A suitable type is, for example, ABB AF116B-40-22-13 for up to 55 kW loads or some higher power version of the similar type. The voltage rating of the auxiliary contacts must be suitable for the network voltage.

Varmistaaksemme tuotteidemme laadun ja turvallisen kehityksen myös jatkossa, aloitamme uuden tehtaan valmistelut investoimalla uusiin koneisiin ja kansainvälisten sähkönormien vaatimiin testauslaitteisiin. Näiden tärkeiden alkuvalmistelujen jälkeen aloitamme tuotannon kolmessa eri vaiheessa:
Syksyllä 2024 Trafoxin ilma- ja vesijäähdytetyt Tehoelektroniikan kuristimet – max 3kA.
Seuraavana Trafoxin ilma- ja vesijäähdytetyt Tehomuuntajat, kokoluokaltaan 500kVA – 3MVA.
Kolmantena Trafoxin Keskijänniteverkon kuristimet – max 11kV.
Tehtaan käyttöönoton arvioimme olevan kokonaisuudessaan valmis noin kahden vuoden kuluttua.
Tämän huomattavan lisäkapasiteetin myötä, tulemme uudelleenjärjestelemään myös Joensuun nykyisen tehtaan, takaamalla lisää tilaa jo nyt voimakkaasti kasvavalle valvontalaitetuotannollemme. Innovatiiviset Trafox Superintend vikavirran- ja eristystasonvalvontalaitteemme ovat asiakkaidemme käytössä kymmenissä tuhansissa eri teollisuuden, sairaaloiden, sähköajoneuvojen latauslaitteiden, uusiutuvan energian, laiva-, rakennus- ja raskaan teollisuuden käyttökohteissa ympäri maailman.
FI mark is only granted to products that have passed thorough tests and inspections and complies safety requirements of the low-voltage directive. FI mark is always a reliable verification that the product is suitable for Finnish conditions with e.g. cold winters affecting endurance of electrical devices.
New high quality Trafox Medical Isolation Transformers have a very low inrush current, typically under 3,5x In. Because of this, there is no need for separate inrush peak limiting devices. The primary fuses can be rated lower than with other medical transformers. The installation can be done by wires having a smaller copper cross section. This will increase the total savings in hospital electricity installations.
The Trafox Medical Isolation Transformer has also been designed so that the leakage currents and no-load losses are at a low level. These transformers do have also long lifetime design with high temperature class insulations.
We are pleased to present these first new hospital projects in mainland China. The Hospitals chose Trafox Chenahoya Medical Insulation Monitoring units and new Medical Isolation Transformers after hard and precise technical evaluation. We are proud to export these great results of Finnish engineering work to these hospitals from our Finnish factory.
